Based out of New York City, Los Angeles, and Santa Fe, Turquoise Horse is an Emmy® award winning feature film and television production and film finance company. We work in all modalities for projects from packaging talent to film finance to physical production and post production. Our non fiction based work has been rooted in under-reported stories and voices not often heard from around the world.

Turquoise Horse is in development on a large slate of scripted and unscripted feature films and series.

The fiction department specializes in timeless classics and period based films. Our feature film credits include Silo (Distributed by Oscilloscope Labs) Dir. Marshall Burnette. Miles released by Netflix and Freestyle Releasing, Dir. Nathan Adloff, Point Gods (Showtime) Dir. Sam Eliad, The Blessing (Distributed by PBS and iTunes) Dir. Hunter Robert Baker and Jordan Fein and the forthcoming Land With No Rider Dir. Tamar Lando which premiered at the 2025 True / False Film Festival.

Turquoise Horse was founded in 2015 by Producer and Cinematographer Hunter Robert Baker. Most recently, Baker worked in the Northern Alaskan Arctic Circle with the Inupiaq tribe, on the fiction anthology series HBO True Detective: Night Country, Starring Jodi Foster and Kali Reis. The series was nominated for 19 Emmy® Awards including Best Anthology Series and Best Cinematography and three Golden Globe Awards including Best Limited Series.
